Between your classes, extracurricular events, internships, and the general life of academia, what do you do to unwind? Do you take photos? Do you write? Do you bake? Whatever artistic mode you express yourself through, are you ever proud enough to share it with your fellow peers?

AMSA is bringing to you a space to share what you do not invest much time and energy towards. It's difficult to find a place to publish your work. Most platforms have standards for what they deem worthy of a large audience, grammatical perfection or strict guidelines, and to write for so many of these organizations means to be a member dedicating several hours a week to the newspaper. Pre-med students do not have that luxury, but that does not mean there shouldn’t be a place for you to share that one minute poem about your coffee that you wrote between physiology lecture and physics homework, or your weird fascination with the anatomy of tardigrades, or your part-time cell-phone photography hobby. So here it is, a feel-good community for the pre-medical student's artistic needs: Anatomy of Ink!

Submissions will be on a rolling basis! Submit whenever you want and as many times as you want! Your work will be posted on our website for other members to see and share their thoughts and praises. And if you're too shy to let them know it's you, you can request to have it posted anonymously, or under a pen name!

We hope that you can use this space to find what makes you unique and what gives you the drive that brought you here thus far and will take you farther in your future.
