She’s a funny thing; My Muse She laughs under starry skies with bright vermillion eyes And cries crystalline tears for the amethyst tide Her fears are wrought into devastating cheer As my heart bursts and breaks under her leer I never thought I would turn down love But here she is; basking under a burning sun Intense and focused; caught up in my song But can I believe that I am what she sees? Or am I just another belonging? Not meant for forever; but whisked away in a breeze.
